Parson & Partners provides advisory, coaching, and consulting services to founders, executives, leaders, and individuals and families navigating high-stakes personal and professional moments.
These engagements are not psychotherapy or clinical treatment. No diagnosis is made, no mental health condition is treated, and no clinical documentation is created. Parson & Partners does not accept insurance and does not provide services billable to insurance.
Andrew Woods holds an active clinical license as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina and is a National Certified Counselor. His background also includes pastoral care, coaching, trauma-informed practice, organizational health, and direct experience as an entrepreneur. That background shapes the depth and judgment brought to this work. It does not make a Parson & Partners engagement a clinical one.
Separately from Parson & Partners, Andrew provides clinical mental health counseling to a limited number of clients. Those engagements are available only to individuals who live in or are physically present in North Carolina, consistent with his licensure. Any clinical engagement is identified explicitly as such and governed by its own professional disclosures, informed consent, and documentation.
If, during the course of an advisory engagement, it becomes clear that clinical mental health support would better serve what someone needs, that will be said directly. In some circumstances, having appropriate clinical support in place will be necessary before the work continues.
Confidentiality is maintained at the standard appropriate to a high-trust advisory relationship. It is not clinical confidentiality, and Parson & Partners engagements are not subject to HIPAA.
